My Approach
Thorough and Comprehensive Assessment
I provide detailed comprehensive psychiatric assessments informed by my experience across community, inpatient and forensic settings. I take time to understand your history, current presentation and the wider context in order to offer clear clinical opinions and practical next steps.
Evidence-Based, Individualised Treatment
I have extensive experience in psychopharmacology and in managing mild, moderate, acute and complex presentations. Where medication is appropriate, I draw on this expertise to ensure treatment is carefully considered and closely monitored.
Collaborative and Empowering
I am committed to building strong therapeutic alliances with my patients and I strongly believe that good care is inherently collaborative. I prioritise transparency, shared decision-making and clear communication, so you feel informed and confident in your treatment.
Experienced in Complex and Acute Presentations
I have worked across early intervention services, acute assessment units and secure settings, supporting individuals at different stages of illness. This breadth of experience allows me to remain calm, organised and clinically focused, even when presentations are complex or distressing.
