General Adult Psychiatry

Specialist mental health assessment and treatment for adults in London and online

Our General Adult Psychiatry Unit brings together consultant psychiatrists and specialists with extensive experience across a wide range of mental health conditions affecting adults.

We see many people who come to us when things have started to feel overwhelming, unclear or difficult to manage on their own, and whether symptoms have developed recently or have been present for some time. Taking the step to seek help is often the hardest part. We aim to make what comes next as straightforward as possible.

Our approach is thorough, collaborative and personalised. We take time to understand your history, current experiences and wider context. We can offer a clear clinical picture and a treatment plan that addresses both immediate concerns and longer-term wellbeing.

Whether you are looking for an assessment, a diagnosis, a second opinion, or ongoing support through medication, therapy or a combination of approaches, we can help.

Who this is for

We can help if you are experiencing:

You do not need a referral or an existing diagnosis to get in touch. Many people come to us unsure of what is wrong, but just knowing that something does not feel right.

  • Anxiety, stress or panic

Persistent worry, fear or panic that is affecting your daily life, relationships or ability to function.

  • Low mood or depression

Feelings of sadness, emptiness or hopelessness that are not lifting — or that are getting in the way of everyday life.

  • Sleep difficulties or low energy

Struggling to sleep, stay asleep, or feeling persistently exhausted in ways that are affecting how you cope.

  • Emotional overwhelm or burnout

Feeling unable to keep up, emotionally depleted, or like you are running on empty at work or at home.

  • Trauma or difficult life experiences

Past or recent experiences that continue to affect how you feel, think or relate to others.

  • Ongoing or complex mental health difficulties

Longer-standing difficulties that may not have fully responded to previous treatment, or that feel hard to explain.

We help individuals with:

“Our clinical approach is thoughtful, collaborative and grounded in high standards of practice. We work closely with people to understand their experiences and priorities, and to find a way forward together.”
