My approach
Personalised Care for Young People
I take a thoughtful approach that understands how early experiences can affect a young person’s emotions and mental health. I offer a safe space where young people can explore what’s behind their difficulties and find ways to feel stronger and more confident. Every aspect of care is thoughtfully adapted to the individual’s needs, history, and developmental stage.
ADHD
When I assess ADHD, my main goal is to really understand the young person and their unique circumstances. I believe it's important to hear their perspective and consider any other challenges they might be facing alongside ADHD.
I have extensive clinical experience and have developed ADHD assessment pathways in the NHS for children and adolescents. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with colleagues through training sessions and lectures about ADHD, so we can all be better equipped to support young people.
Family (Systemic) Therapy
I’m trained in Systemic Therapy, which means I consider how a young person’s family, culture, and environment may influence their mental health. This training helps me work not only with children, but also with their families who may be navigating communication or relational difficulties
Mood & Bipolar Disorders in Young People
I have published research on predictors of complex conditions in children and adolescents, helping to identify risk factors and early intervention strategies. In clinical settings, this knowledge supports careful assessment and management of depression and mood instability in young people.
Inclusive and Accessible Care
I offer appointments online and in person to ensure care is accessible and flexible. I aim to provide a supportive, respectful space that adapts to the individual needs of each young person and their family.
